EnglishEssays.net is a relatively new academic writing company that promotes itself as a service for students in English-speaking schools and universities. This review has been prepared to give students an objective appraisal of the company’s services. It is based upon several factors – the content on the site, EnglishEssays.net testimonials, comments and feedback found on social media and other places on the web, the results of conversations with customer service staff, and the quality of a research paper we ordered, posing as a student. This English Essays review is the result of our findings.

Factor 1: EnglishEssays.net Services

The company provides academic writing services to students from high school through the Ph.D. level of study. Products include basic essays, research papers, projects and proposals, presentations, and more, as well as Master’s theses and Ph.D. dissertations. Additional advertised services include admissions and scholarship essays, lab reports, case studies, and assistance with higher level mathematics problems. There are no non-academic writing services offered.

Factor 2: Quality of Service

To determine quality of products and services, we looked to site-based testimonials, English Essays customer reviews from other online sources, and our experience ordering a college level research paper. We were unable to review any writing samples on the site. There were pre-written essays and papers which could be purchased, but no way to evaluate writers’ actual work. There was some cause for concern, as some of the titles of these pre-written essays were not in proper English, for example, an essay titled, “Is it Humanly to Use Animals for Scientific Research?” the proper word is “Humane.” This tells us that perhaps the company uses foreign writers. When we asked to see actual samples of writers’ work, through chat, we received no reply.

We ordered an 8-page research paper in political science with a 7-day deadline. We received the paper on time. Upon review, we discovered a number of grammatical ad structural errors which we then pointed out to customer service. Revisions were completed as requested, but even those were not exactly right. This causes us to give only a “fair” EnglishEssays.net rating.

We attempted to find an English Essays BBB rating, but the company is not lister with the Better Business Bureau.

Factor 3: Pricing, Payments and Discounts

EnglishEssays.net prices are contained on a pricing chart and range from $11.30/page for a basic high school essay with a 20-day deadline to $90/page for an urgent essay at the Ph.D. level. Our research paper was priced at $207.48, which is certainly in the high range of pricing.

We were unable to find any set English Essays discounts. However, when an order is placed, 10% of that order cost is placed in an account to be used toward future orders.

There is a place to enter a company's promo code on the order form, but we could not find any promo code for new or returning customers. It was the same situation with any type of their coupon codes. None were advertised on the site.

Addition: Other Important Features

This company is obviously new to the industry. There are no written policies, nor is there a blog or sample essays to review. Perhaps as the company develops and grows, these will be added, along with features that most established and reputable writing services offer.

Summary

In looking at EnglishEssays pros & cons, we would have to state that the service at this point is disappointing. The site is scant on information; there are no customer testimonials; there are no samples to review; and the sample research paper we received was not of highest quality. While we can certainly state that this service is not a fraud or scam, the company needs to improve its quality of writing and its customer service, as well as promotional features such as discounts and other benefits. The lack of written policies is also of concern. We can only provide a “fair” rating to English Essays and hope that the service will improve over time.
